About Me

Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri (the land of toasted ravioli and Blues Hockey), I moved out to Los Angeles in 2022 to begin my entertainment career as a Production Operations Coordinator for Universal Studio Group. Outside of this, I have completed Basic Improv through The Groundlings, Improv 101 at UCB, performed in various comedy clubs (The Ice House, Flappers Comedy Club, Comedy Blvd., The Crow, Fourth Wall Comedy Cafe, etc.) throughout Los Angeles on a regular basis and more.

Before moving, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Film, Television and Video Production with a minor in Advertising and Marketing Communications from Webster University in my hometown of St. Louis. MO. I was thankful to complete six different internships/programs during my college years. My previous internship experience includes supporting the studio production team for The Oxygen Network through NBCUniversal, contributing to the account management team at Unbridled Media, assisting with the coordination of the 29th Annual Whitaker St. Louis International Film Festival through Cinema St. Louis, creating digital marketing content for Interco Trading Company, doing local film promotion for major studios such as Lionsgate, Sony Pictures, Amazon Studios and more through the St. Louis Allied Global Marketing branch and participating in the Disney College Program.

During my time at Webster University, I worked on several different narrative, documentary and commentary-style content projects as a writer, director, assistant director, producer, casting director, actress, assistant camera, editor and location scout. I was also the Social Media Editor for the Webster Journal, an Assistant Coordinator the the Webster University Filmmaking Camp, the Secretary for the Webster Film Association, a Gorlok Guide for the Undergraduate Office of Admissions and had the chance to study abroad at the Webster Vienna campus for a semester (well, half a semester…it was the Spring of 2020 if you know what I mean).

So what got me into entertainment in the first place? When I was in the third grade, my dad took me to see the touring production of The Wedding Singer at the Fabulous Fox Theatre (the most beautiful theatre in St. Louis indeed and not just because we share a name). Everything changed from there. By the time fourth grade came around, I had signed up for a local choir and made my musical theatre debut in a community theatre production of Alice in Wonderland as a mouse. From 10 to 18 years old, not a season went by that I was not in a play or musical through my school, my local community or even a local university. With so much of my life being so focused on theatre, I realized my senior year of high school that I never really gave myself the chance to explore other creative avenues. To allow myself more opportunities in the creative realm, I joined my high school newspaper staff as a Web Staffer. After having so much fun being able to create video content, write stories and create interactive articles, I had somewhat of an identity crisis. Am I passionate about something else besides theatre? This paired with the fact that I had watched Breaking Bad about 4 times through at this point and could not seem to shake studying every technical aspect that went into it.

After an abundance of internal debate, I decided to go into college undecided rather than boxing myself into one category so I could figure out what it was I really wanted to study. My first semester went by and I had not quite figured out this internal debate yet. Instead of doing something normal like taking a career aptitude test or something, I applied and got accepted into the Disney College Program. After spending an amazing 8 months working long weeks with some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met, I returned home still unsure of my next move. All I knew was that I wanted a collaborative element to whatever I chose. I lived at home for a semester and took some courses through a local community college when one night I on a whim when to see the new movie Bohemian Rhapsody. I saw this movie in theaters not once, not twice, but three times. It became abundantly clear that I knew what I wanted to focus my career on. I applied and was accepted into the Webster University Film Program and the rest is history!

Fast forward to about 6 months into me living in Los Angeles. I was so lucky to have secured an amazing job, great apartment and made a few lovely friends. However, I could not ignore the urge I was feeling to perform again. After doing some research, I found out about the Groundlings. My entire life, I had always loved sketch comedy. Once Taylor Lautner hosted SNL in 2009, I had my Saturday night plans etched in my mental calendar for the rest of eternity. I also did some reflecting and seemed to remember most of my roles in theatre growing up were comedic (shoutout to all of the St. Louis theatre directors who cast me as a mouse, elf or dwarf - I suppose I can’t fault you too much as I was 4’10 for most of my early life). I started taking Basic Improv through the Groundlings and this opened me up to want to explore every avenue of comedy in Los Angeles. Halfway through the class, I decided to try stand up at a local open mic night (shoutout Fourth Wall Comedy Cafe). Since that fateful day in June 2023, not a week has gone by that I have not performed stand up at least once.

So here I am, still working full time at Universal Studio Group, taking improv classes and performing stand up every chance I get. I appreciate you reading this whole blurb on my life and what inspires me!
